Title: ROSE LEAVES IN RAIN, Medium: Watercolor, Paper size: 23 x 30 inches, Painting size: 19 x 19 inches inches
April showers inspire watercolor paintings! My front yard in Laguna Beach was the catalyst for this painting after a rare and heavy rain. Water clung to those thirsty leaves as sparkling droplets in a way that would mesmerize just about anyone. When I looked more closely at the scene in front of my house I felt drawn into the kaleidoscope of shapes, colors, and reflections. How may different greens could there be? An infinite number it seems. Please email me for further details including availability of original artwork.
